David Young

David Young is Emeritus Professor at the University of New South Wales, where he had been Head of the School of Materials Science and Engineering.  His most significant contributions are in the field of high temperature alloy-gas interactions and he has recently published a book entitled High Temperature Oxidation and Corrosion of Metals.  He now spends much of his time working with industry to help solve corrosion problems in high temperature materials and develop alloys for high temperature service.
